Dr. Jacquet is an internationally recognized researcher whose work examines the intersection of environmental science, policy, and ethics. She has led significant scientific and policy efforts to ban octopus farming in the U.S. and other countries, publishing groundbreaking research on its ecological and moral implications.
Dr. Mikki McComb-Kobza
CEO and Chief Scientist, Ocean First Institute
Faculty Member, University of Colorado Boulder
A marine biologist, explorer, and globally recognized conservation leader, Dr. McComb-Kobza has reached over half a million people worldwide with her ocean conservation advocacy, research, and education. She is the immediate past president of the American Elasmobranch Society, a National Fellow of the Explorers Club, and a member of the Women Divers Hall of Fame.
