Pet-Friendly Housing in Colorado

Objectives:

We are examining the extent to which renters in Colorado are facing barriers when seeking housing with their pets, and whether these barriers differ by income. We are conducting an analysis of zillow and other publicly available rental data to understand:

1. What is the prevalence of pet friendly rental housing units in Colorado, as determined through a randomly selected subset of zip codes?
2. How does the prevalence of pet friendly units vary by the median income of the zip code and by the cost of the rental listing?
3. What is the prevalence of breed restrictions, size restrictions, and pet screening processes among pet friendly units?
