\n\t\t\tWhy CHCC\t<\/h2>\n\t

Carnivores and people have long shared landscapes, often with significant costs for both. As human populations expand and habitats change, finding ways for people and carnivores to coexist has become an increasingly important conservation and societal challenge.<\/h3>\n

Coexistence requires addressing both direct conflict between people and carnivores and social conflict among people about carnivores. Doing so requires ecological and social science, collaboration, education, and practical solutions that account for the economic, cultural, and political dimensions of living with carnivores.<\/h3>\n

CHCC brings these perspectives together through an interdisciplinary team at Colorado State University focused on advancing the science and practice of human-carnivore coexistence.<\/h3>\n\t<\/a>\n
