Cavaliere<\/strong> has been recognized by the <strong>Human Dimensions of Natural Resources Department<\/strong> for her outstanding effort to promote <strong>diversity, equity and inclusion<\/strong> through her faculty service and research! She was nominated on the following highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Invited by the co-editors for a Special Issue on gender and tourism in Annals of Leisure Research<ul><li>Cavaliere, C. T., &amp; Ingram, L. J. (2021). Climate change and anger: misogyny and the dominant growth paradigm in tourism.\u00a0<em>Annals of Leisure Research<\/em>, 1-18. <a href=\"https:\/\/www-tandfonline-com.ezproxy2.library.colostate.edu\/doi\/abs\/10.1080\/11745398.2021.1949732\">DOI:\u00a010.1080\/11745398.2021.1949732<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Research with colleagues in Norway and the US that implements the utilization of a new transdisciplinary ecofeminist intersectional methodology relating to posthumanism and tourism studies coining the conceptualization of <strong>Wildlife Equity<\/strong><\/li><li>Making projects, knowledge networks, and coursework available through her lab supporting co-learning and co-supporting of DEI and female researchers.<\/li><li>Foundational use of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion principles as foundations in teaching <\/li><li>Fostering inclusion of advanced gender equality within academic involvement through research in the Tourism and Conservation Lab<\/li><li>Service on multiple external international advisory boards and committees that demonstrate her commitment to international DEI including:<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/warnercnr.colostate.edu\/international-affairs\/\">Warner College Committee of International Affairs and Global Engagement<\/a><\/li><li>Advisory Board for <a href=\"https:\/\/fanimal.online\/\">Fanimal<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gstcouncil.org\/about\/people\/gstc-working-groups\/\">Global Sustainable Tourism Council\u2019s Communications &amp; Marketing Working Group<\/a><\/li><li>Editorial service to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www-tandfonline-com.ezproxy2.library.colostate.edu\/action\/journalInformation?show=editorialBoard&amp;journalCode=reco20\">Journal of Ecotourism<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Tourism and Conservation Lab is delighted to announce that Dr. Christina T.
