Results Browser Window<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Results Browser Window allows you to examine output from models for which you have previously generated output and stored in the Results File<\/a>.\u00a0 Displayed on the screen is a table of results, including the default columns <\/span>Model Name<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0 <\/span>QAICc<\/a><\/span>, <\/span>Delta QAICc<\/a><\/span>, and <\/span>Deviance<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 If <\/span>c-hat<\/a><\/span> is equal to one, then <\/span>AICc<\/a><\/span> and <\/span>Delta QAICc<\/a><\/span> are displayed.\u00a0 In addition, the numerical output for the model is included in a memo field in the Results File<\/a> data base, and can be viewed by clicking on the Output | Specific Model | Editor menu choices.\u00a0 By selecting File | Preferences<\/a>, you can also change the model selection method to BIC<\/a>, and add columns for -2log(L)<\/a> or a time stamp<\/a>.\u00a0 Model Notes<\/a> are also stored in the Results Browser.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the Delete<\/a> menu choice, you can delete a single model from the Results File, or clear the entire file.\u00a0 The clear option can be a disaster, so be careful — you must really want to delete all the models to select clear.\u00a0 If you accidentally delete a model that you want back, use the Undelete Model<\/a> menu choice from the Delete menu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the Order menu choice, you can order the table of model results by <\/span>model name<\/a><\/span>, <\/span>AICc<\/a><\/span>, (or <\/span>BIC<\/a><\/span> if this model selection procedure is being used), <\/span>deviance<\/a><\/span>, or <\/span>number of parameters estimated<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other menu options under the Output menu choice specific to the highlighted model in the Results Browser allow you to retrieve a previous model (including the Parameter Matrices<\/a> and Design Matrix<\/a>) for creating a new model, to print the numerical output from a model to the printer, and to produce a table of the model summary statistics in a <\/span>NotePad Window<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 Variance components<\/a> analysis for either the beta estimates or the real parameter estimates.\u00a0 The variance-covariance of either the beta estimates or the real estimates can be retrieved in a <\/span>NotePad Window<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 Residuals can also be placed in a NotePad Window for study, or use in a different piece of software.\u00a0 Residuals can also be plotted<\/a>, either as Pearson residuals or the default deviance residuals.\u00a0 Parameter estimates and their standard errors and confidence intervals can be <\/span>copied<\/a><\/span> to the clipboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other menu choices under the Output menu choice allow you to Append<\/a> a model to the current results file, append models from a subdirectory, perform model averaging<\/a> on models in the results file, or view the input data used to create the models.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the Tests menu selection, you can construct Likelihood Ratio<\/a> and ANODEV<\/a> tests, parametric bootstrap goodness-of-fit<\/a> simulations, median c-hat<\/a> estimation, plus evaluate the probability level of chi-square<\/a> and F<\/a> statistics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the Adjustments menu choice, options are available for changing the quasi-likelihood scaling parameter (<\/span>c-hat<\/a><\/span>, modifying<\/a> the number of parameters<\/a> estimable in the model (which changes the QAICc,<\/a>\u00a0 AICc<\/a>, BIC<\/a>, or QBIC<\/a> value), changing a model’s name<\/a>, or setting the <\/span>font size<\/a><\/span> of the window..\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
