Thank you for your interest!<\/h2>\n<p>We hope you can join us for the 2018 HAR Summer Field Tour.\u00a0The 2-day field tour will visit several vegetative restoration sites in the northern Colorado Front Range affected by the 2013 floods.\u00a0The floods created unique sites and challenges for restoration efforts. This will be a once in a lifetime experience to be on sites not available for public access and to see challenges in revegetation that are a first occurrence in the history of the region.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue discussion of restoration activities at these sites with a panel of Emergency Watershed Protection leadership and technical assistance team personnel the evening of July 10th\u00a0beginning at 6:30 PM at the Oskar Blues Oak Room in Longmont. The <a href=\"http:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/centralrockies\/event\/pub-talk-in-longmont\/\">Central Rockies chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration (CeRSER)<\/a> will be hosting this event, which is\u00a0<em>free<\/em> and <em>open to the public;\u00a0<\/em>pre-registration not required for the Pub Talk. If you cannot participate during the day, please feel free to join us in the evening for drinks, discussion, and networking. CeRSER will provide appetizers and a cash bar will be available.<\/p>\n<h3>Important information:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Tentative schedule for both days is detailed below.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0On-line registration is required for the Field Tour due to limited seats on buses. Please take a few moments to complete the online registration to insure your seat on this exceptional tour.\n<ul>\n<li>On-line registration is <em>not<\/em> <em>required<\/em> for the <a href=\"http:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/centralrockies\/event\/pub-talk-in-longmont\/\">Pub Talk on July 10th<\/a>. Decide you can make it to the Pub Talk at the last minute? Come and join us!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>We will begin handing out name tags to registered participants at 7:45 AM each day prior to boarding buses at 8 AM.<\/li>\n<li>Buses will be departing from the South Parking Lot at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bouldercounty.org\/open-space\/fairgrounds\/\">Boulder County Fairgrounds (Longmont, CO)<\/a>\u00a0at 8:15 AM and returning around 5:30 PM each day. Please use restroom facilities before coming to board the buses.<\/li>\n<li>All tour participants must ride on buses provided due to fragile conditions and\/or limited accessibility of sites. Other vehicles cannot be accommodated at the field sites.\u00a0There will not be any exceptions.<\/li>\n<li>Please bring your own water (reusable bottle, please), snacks, insect repellant, and sunscreen.
