He is researching the individual and institutional decision-making dynamics among water users and managers in the eastern plains of Colorado, interviewing water users and mangers to find a balance between conservation and consumption.&nbsp; He is will also be studying the inter-specific competition of invasive Mosquito fish and native Colorado plans fish with the hopes of applying coexistence theory to mitigate the decline in native fish species. Samuel received a Bachelor\u2019s of Science in Aquatic Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has since gained valuable insight on the water quality issues of Colorado through his work with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Outside of work Sam also enjoys hiking with his dog, fly fishing, rock climbing, and anything fun to do under the sun.
