This simulation produces a mean and standard deviation for the estimated PCI<sub>2<\/sub>. The standard deviations from the simulated PCI<sub>2<\/sub> is critical in testing for a significant difference from a value (e.g., from 0 or 1) and for testing for significant differences between PCI<sub>2<\/sub> values.
