Salmon are an icon of the Pacific landscape. Despite conservation efforts, however, the future of the species \u2013 and those that depend on salmon for survival \u2013 remains in question. With our 2022 theme, \u201cLife Without Salmon?\u201d<\/em>, we will explore the question: what steps do we take when facing the extinction of a species cornerstone to economic stability, ecological health and regional identity \u2013 and what does life look like if conservation fails?<\/em><\/p>\n

In pursuit of Pathways\u2019 mission of increasing the professionalism and effectiveness\u00a0in\u00a0the human dimensions of wildlife management field, we\u00a0continue to\u00a0address\u00a0the most pressing issues facing conservation efforts today. We invite your perspectives on this critical topic.<\/p>\n
