Please follow the instructions carefully and include all requested information. All submissions must be in English. Please be aware, participants will not be allowed more than one oral presentation, but may be listed as a co-author of several abstracts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You may submit your abstract by visiting the Ex Ordo abstract submission system at https:\/\/pathways2021.exordo.com<\/strong><\/a> (you will be required to setup an account first).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Step 0)<\/em><\/strong> Create an account with Ex Ordo by visiting: https:\/\/pathways2021.exordo.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1)<\/em><\/strong> Select the \u201cIndividual Abstract\u201d track when you start your submission.<\/p>\n

Step 2)<\/em><\/strong> Enter the title and abstract. The title must be \u22648 words <\/strong>and abstracts must be \u2264300 words<\/strong> in order to submit. Abstracts that exceed the word limit will not be accepted by the submission system. Each abstract should include a clear statement of the problem or objectives, give brief methods and substantive results, and end with a clear conclusion. Do not use vague statements such as \u201cresults will be discussed.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Step 3)<\/em><\/strong> Enter authors and their affiliations. All co-author\u2019s email addresses MUST be included<\/u><\/strong>. You must also designate \u201ccorresponding authors\u201d and \u201cpresenting authors.\u201d Please be aware, no more than the first 5 authors may be listed to retain program readability. Up to 2 authors may be listed as presenting.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 4)<\/em><\/strong> Choose up to 3 topics of interest<\/a><\/strong> from the list that accurately categorize your abstract. These topics will be used to place your abstract in an appropriate session if your submission is not part of an organized session.<\/p>\n

The Pathways 2021 conference theme is “Life Without Salmon?”<\/em><\/strong>. This theme will guide the development of our plenary and training program. We encourage individual presentations that fall within the Pathways 2021 conference theme, but this is not a requirement.<\/p>\n

Step 5)<\/em> <\/strong>You will be asked if you are submitting an Organized Session. This question is in reference to the submission that you are currently entering. Since this is an Individual Abstract, you will reply \u201cNO\u201d here. If this submission is an Organized Session, return to Step 1 and mark it as an Organized Session and follow the Organized Session instruction steps instead. If your submission is part of an Organized Session, please select “yes” to the question “is this abstract part of an Organized Session?” and enter the title of the Organized Session.<\/p>\n
