The Fort Collins Urban Sustainability Research Network (USRN) is a platform for enhancing collaborations among the diverse organizations, institutions, and communities dedicated to building a sustainable future for Fort Collins, and other cities along the Front Range. Through this platform we are developing a systematic approach to the region’s urban research needs and comprehensive sustainability goals. This team aims to build capacity among diverse partners and stakeholders to create innovative and equitable place-based solutions that could influence how cities around the globe approach and fund sustainability efforts.<\/p>\r\n

Fort Collins USRN Goals<\/h2>\r\n

  1. Establish multiple successful transdisciplinary research projects that will advance the use of scientific results to support smart policy development.<\/li>\r\n
  2. Build strong transdisciplinary teams that can develop innovative research and policy solutions associated with the grand challenges facing the City of Fort Collins<\/li>\r\n
