Welcome to the Plant Ecophysiology Group at Colorado State University.  The goal of our group is to identify the different mechanisms use to survive extreme weather events and then quantify important thresholds that can help us predict the mortality of plants to disturbances.  We use a combination of leaf and cellular-level physiology, anatomy, and a little chemistry (only when we have to) to provide mechanstic explanations of the physiological responses of plants to their environment.
