Colorado State has been a leader amongst universities and is the top performing doctoral institution in sustainability. Colorado State was the first university in the world to achieve STARS platinum (sustainability, tracking, assessment and rating system). CSU has also been voted as #1 Greenest College and is a platinum bike-friendly university.
Sustainability is woven into all departments and classes held at CSU. All 8 colleges include sustainability majors and minors to encourage students to continue to learn in all aspects of sustainability. Students have created many organizations to further involve sustainability into their college experience (One Health Club, Agribusiness).
Colorado State University has over 3,000 sustainability related research projects and 90% of all departments at CSU are engaged in sustainability research.
